Hi Luke,

Based on my local test, I can sync WSS 3.0 calendar with Outlook 2010. First, make sure you provide the right account and credential when you sync WSS 3.0 calendar to Outlook 2010. This account may not the same as the account you login into the WSS 3.0 site.

Second, make sure the account you login into the WSS 3.0 site has enough permission on the site and calendar list.

Finally, try to use site administrator to login into the WSS 3.0 site, then create a new Outlook 2010 profile with the same account, then check the effect.

Hi

Everything works fine for the user when connecting via outlook 2007, so i don’t see how it could be permission based.

To check, I did set up a blank profile and try it again with the same error.

Also note, as i mentioned, the issue persists on 2 different machines running outlook 2010

I seem to have this issue at 2 sites now, and would love to get it resolved, as it is preventing an ms office upgrade because of this issue.

Thanks

Hi Luke,

Please post the exact address into the forum for further analyze, for example, my address is as follows:

stssync://sts/?ver=1.1&type=calendar&cmd=add-folder&base-url=http%3A%2F%2F157%2E60%2E60%2E204&list-url=%2FLists%2FCalendar%2F&guid=%7Bfa6aa222%2D05bf%2D4b0f%2D91b9%2D80e86edd6d2c%7D&site-name=Team%20Site&list-name=Calendar

If you use IP address to open your WSS 3.0 site, for example http://x.x.x.x/lists/calendar, what is the result.

Please try to create a new calendar on SharePoint site, ensure you don’t use Special or Unicode characters. Then check the effect.
